How it all started
In high school, I developed a fascination for hairstyling videos on YouTube. Spending hours watching and learning different techniques like braiding, half-up styles, and updos became a fun hobby before going in for my shifts at Chick-fil-A. I became more skilled with time and eventually turned it into a side business during my teenage years. Of course, sometimes I would walk into work looking like I was ready to attend a wedding or prom, but it was all worth it. In 2019, I went to cosmetology school and learned color and cutting. After spending two years learning from multiple stylists who are further into their careers, I opened a salon suite in 2022. I enjoy being a business owner and serving brides and lived-in-color clients!

Although I work in a salon, I prefer using natural products in my personal life. It surprises me how many chemicals are present in the products we use on our bodies, in our homes, and even in foods! I am still on the lookout for products that suit me, but I have found some clean makeup, better laundry detergent, body care products, and quality supplements that I like. Even though I am exposed to chemicals and fragrances daily at work, I value having cleaner products in my home. My biggest dream is to discover more natural hair products. Until then, I am happy to share my findings with other interested people.

I am passionate about slow, simple living, which has changed my perspective on various aspects of life, including my business. I used to hustle all the time, but it only left me drained and exhausted. I realized that I was spreading myself too thin. Therefore, I made several changes this past year to become the best version of myself. I started decluttering my home, which made me realize how much I consume. This led me to focus on quality and only buy what is necessary. I don't believe in pushing products in my salon, as I understand that people are constantly bombarded with product promotions. Instead, I want to be helpful by suggesting only those products that can add value to your life, not your already lengthy to-do list. Embracing simple living has made me low-maintenance with my hair, and I love that I have embraced my natural color with a few enhancements. It allows me to go longer between getting my hair done and focusing on other things that bring me joy. That's why I offer these services; I want your hair to give you confidence and not feel like another chore to add to your schedule every six weeks.
